Client “General Crew Instruction” & Client “Project Crew Instruction”
SquidWeb helps planners manage mandatory crew instructions by combining clear document distribution with automated digital signing via the mobile app.
General Crew Instruction: planners can upload instruction documents at client level using the Client General Crew Instruction (Digital Template) document type. Once uploaded, SquidWeb automatically generates a signable document for each crew member linked to the client and sends it to the mobile app for signing. New crew members added later will also receive the instruction automatically. Signed documents are stored in the project’s Documents section and are visible to planners, crew members, and clients.
Project Crew Instruction: for project-specific instructions, planners can upload documents directly under the Project Documents container using the Project Crew Instruction (Digital Template) document type. SquidWeb then checks all ongoing projects and requests signatures only from the crew members assigned to each project. If a document is missing or no longer valid, a new signature is automatically requested. All signing activity is logged, and planners are kept informed throughout the process.

Client “General Crew Information” & Client “Project Crew Information”
SquidWeb makes it easy for planners to upload and share important documents with both clients and crew members.
General Crew Information: with just a few clicks, you can add PDFs, JPEGs or PNGs to a contact’s Contact Documents container. When using the “General Crew Information” document type, the file can be instantly shared with the contact and displayed in the mobile app project page, as long as the user rights “A” are enabled. You can also include a description that will be visible for additional clarity.
Project Crew Information: for project-specific communication, planners can upload documents directly under the Project Documents container. By selecting the “Project Crew Information” document type and enabling user rights A, the files become instantly available to crew members on the mobile app job details page. This ensures that everyone stays informed, aligned and fully prepared for the project.
