Command Palette — Navigate SquidWeb in Seconds
Did you know you can navigate SquidWeb without clicking through menus?
The Command Palette provides fast keyboard access to pages, records, actions and panels from anywhere in SquidWeb.
Whether you’re searching for a project, opening a user profile or triggering an action, the Command Palette helps you get there in seconds.
How to open it
Press Ctrl + K (Windows) or Cmd + K (Mac)
🔎 Search and navigate
Simply start typing to:
• Find pages and modules
• Jump directly to specific sections (Accounting, Planning, Settings, etc.)
• Open contacts, projects, emails, etc
Use the ↑ and ↓ keys to navigate through the results and press Enter to open the selected item.
Search inside a category
You can make your searches even faster by searching inside a specific category.
After selecting a category, simply press Tab.
Example:
Ctrl + K (Windows) or Cmd + K (Mac)
Users
Tab
Ryan
Now the search is limited to Users, making it much easier to find the person you’re looking for.
You can use this with many categories, including:
- Users
- Contacts
- Companies
- Projects
- …and other searchable entities.
